Chapter Review
Chapter 1 establishes an adult military-romance setup with brisk pacing and plenty of uncomfortable comedy. Ji-hoon’s sincere, inexperienced perspective contrasts sharply with the demanding environment around him, while the commander’s volatile entrance adds immediate conflict. The chapter ends by raising the stakes for Ji-hoon’s new assignment.
