About I Just Went for a Health Checkup Chapter 1
Chapter Summary
Jia visits an exclusive women-only medical checkup center after her friend surprises her with an expensive VIP voucher. Impressed by the luxurious setting and celebrity-like staff, she is quickly unsettled when the receptionist directs her to a private changing room and an attendant offers an unexpected “undressing service.” What begins as a routine health screening takes a deeply uncomfortable turn as Jia realizes the center’s staff may not be as professional as they appear.
Chapter Review
Chapter 1 establishes a polished, high-end setting before shifting into tense adult drama. The contrast between Jia’s nervous excitement and the attendant’s intrusive behavior creates an uneasy, fast-moving pace. Her confusion and growing resistance provide the central conflict, while the chapter closes by setting up the examination’s next stage without resolving the disturbing situation.
